Mario has always been one of Nintendo’s most prominent franchises, spawning a plethora of games in both the platforming genre, as well as many spin-offs. He is definitely Nintendo’s most popular mascot, with the series selling over 300 million copies in just the platforming series alone. There is just something about the Mario platformers that are fun to play and can bring a simple smile to one’s face. And that’s what they have done over the 30+ years they have been in the market, as the first Super Mario Bros. game debuted in 1985, although the character himself was present as Jump Man in the original Donkey Kong arcade game.
This guide is intended to get you all of the Power Moons in the game, both in a walkthrough-like fashion and as individual lists. The walkthrough will be split into your first visits, then postgame visits, as there is an extensive postgame in Mario Odyssey. This also includes all of the purple coins, which are regional coins exclusive to each kingdom in the game. These allow you to purchase decorations for your ship, the Odyssey, as well as costumes for Mario.
